The COVID-19 pandemic, and the isolation it creates, amplify the impact of multigenerational racial injustice.  I want to be involved with CSRETF because I am inspired by the words of Dr. Cornell West, Professor of Practice at Harvard Divinity School and Professor Emeritus at Princeton University.  Dr. West suggests that, “Justice is what love looks like in public.”  If we love our diverse community, we must look critically and think deeply about policies, procedures, and systems that impede success.
